Our New Campus – Opening 2027

Enkindle Village School is delighted to share plans for our new permanent campus, opening in Term 1, 2027.

From 2027, our school community will move from our current home at James Cook University to 10 Dwyer Street, Stuart — the historic former site of Stuart State School. This much-loved location will be thoughtfully transformed into a contemporary learning environment that reflects Enkindle’s values, educational vision, and commitment to children.

Thanks to the successful award of Queensland Independent Schools Block Grant Authority (BGA) funding, Enkindle Village School has engaged award-winning architects Counterpoint to lead the campus reconstruction. The project is being delivered in multiple stages, allowing the school to grow sustainably while preserving the character and heritage of the site.

Construction works are currently underway, with the new campus on track to welcome Prep to Year 6 students at the start of Term 1, 2027. The renewed grounds will provide inspiring indoor and outdoor learning spaces designed to support curiosity, creativity, and connection.

We look forward to sharing further updates as the project progresses. More information will be available soon.
